Vestavia Hills remodeler wins state award

 Local remodeler Clint Lovette, of Vestavia Hills’ Lovette Construction, won the "Best in Show" at the state-wide Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards. Best in Show is the highest honor presented at the AREA Awards.  The Best in Show winner was selected from the top four highest scoring entries in this year's competition. Lovette won for its Redmont Historic Preservation project.

The Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards, presented by the Home Builders Association of Alabama, were presented to remodelers, contractors, kitchen and bath designers and other building professionals who exhibited outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail in projects throughout Alabama.

"We are so proud of Clint and his team," said Alicia Vincent, executive officer of the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders. "Their hard work and professionalism is evident in each and every one of their jobs. Winning this award gives the public a chance to see their dedication, hard work and craftsmanship."
